Discover WA
Welcome to Wildcat Academy (WA) where we know all students learn differently and at their own pace. Our staff are here to support students through their learning.
Wildcat Academy (WA) is a 9-12th grade online public school, offered through Chisago Lakes School District, providing full-time curriculum aligned to MN State Standards, and diploma completion to students throughout Minnesota. Classes are offered asynchronously, meaning there are no live classes. Students log in to their classes whenever they want to complete their work. They work independently, with teacher support when its needed. WA staff have scheduled and open office hours to assist students with their work in their assigned classes.
The 9-12 curriculum is supported by Edmentum learning, with rigorous courses paralleled with the Chisago Lakes High School curriculum. WA is recognized and accepted by the NCAA standards. Communication is the heart of our program with available academic coaching, real-world advisory applications, technology support for district-issued devices, and individualized academic interventions.

Is WA right for you?
Online learning is a great option for many students because we offer flexible scheduling of courses that work for any academic or personal schedule, self-paced learning, and students can complete coursework any time of the day. - Am I a self-motivated and self-starting learner?
